Marketplace Inventory

What is a Marketplace Inventory Item? A marketplace inventory item is a product sold on behalf of an individual seller who has consigned their item through our marketplace. The majority of items we sell fall into this category, and the refund policy will be specified on the product pages below the product description.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges (Marketplace Items) Regrettably, due to the consignment and aftermarket nature of products sold via our online and retail channels, we are unable to offer returns, refunds, or exchanges of any kind on marketplace inventory items. All sales are final. If you are unhappy with your item, we can re-list the item for you on consignment to sell again, with the payout due back to you upon the sale taking place.

Damages and Issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 2 days if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and do our best to make it right.

Authenticity Claim All items sold via Story are 100% authentic and tagged with a security seal with a unique serial number linked to your order. Please note, all claims against authenticity are null and void should the security seal be removed.


Retail Inventory

What is a Retail Inventory Item? A retail inventory item is a product sold directly from the brand. As we have more control over the stock levels of these items, we can accept returns, refunds, and exchanges (brand for brand). These items will be clearly marked on the product pages on our website with the tag RETAIL, along with the refund policy described on the product pages below the product description.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges (Retail Inventory Items)

  • The aforementioned brands (Retail Inventory Items) qualify for returns, refunds, and exchanges (brand for brand) within 3 days of receipt.
  • Items must be unworn, tagged, and with all original packaging.
  • A copy of the receipt will be required.
  • Items must be returned to our store for inspection.
  • Customers are responsible for returning the item to our store.
  • If a size exchange is not available, a refund will be issued within 10-14 business days to your original payment method.
